Large size Phoenix Worms are about 3/4" (18mm) long.

This size can be fed to juvie bearded dragons that are 7" long as well as adults. This is also the preferred size for many other insectivores--small monitors, veiled chameleons, Chinese water dragons, large geckos, and other animals.

Shipping Information

We ship Monday through Thursday USPS and FedEx.

We offer hold for pick up at your local post office when shipped USPS. When your temperatures are below 40 or above 85.

During Cold Temperatures we will offer Heat pack as an option on product pages. This will insure that your feeders will arrive in good health in cold temperatures.

Great for smaller lizards (?)

I tried phoenix worms when my dragons were smaller, but frankly I found them a little creepy. I bought the larger one recently for some variety to the dragons diet, but the larger dragon mostly ignores them if they are in a large bowl, but my smaller dragon jumps right in. They do last long if you follow the keeping instuctions.

I won't order my bugs from anywhere else! Shipping is always fast and the insects are always in good condition and wriggling. This was my first time trying Phoenix worms for my beardie but he loves them! What a great healthier alternative to mealworms or superworms.
