Large size Phoenix Worms are about 3/4" (18mm) long.
This size can be fed to juvie bearded dragons that are 7" long as well as adults. This is also the preferred size for many other insectivores--small monitors, veiled chameleons, Chinese water dragons, large geckos, and other animals.
Shipping Information
We ship Monday through Thursday USPS and FedEx.
We offer hold for pick up at your local post office when shipped USPS. When your temperatures are below 40 or above 85.
During Cold Temperatures we will offer Heat pack as an option on product pages. This will insure that your feeders will arrive in good health in cold temperatures.

These always come quickly, and the worms are alive and well. I'm not sure if all phoenix worms come like this, but they are a lot smallr than mealworms. Some are tiny, which makes them hard to find, feed to BD. Also, the dark stuff they come packed in is a pain to sift off the worms. I prefer the ease of mealworms, but know phoenix worms are healthier. Just wish they were a more consistent size and had a different food/material packing.

I won't lie - these were an adjustment after mainly feeding our beardie meal worms. They came fairly quickly, packed well, and aive. But the size variety is huge. Teeny worms, and large worms (which are much smaller than large mealworms.) They also come in a substrate that is a pain to get off the worms, but we figure it out. They are healthier than mealworms, and our beardie loves them. My only wish is that we could get all very large ones - but we are happy with the quality!
